It is with heavy hearts that we have decided to cancel the 2021 Scottish Open Volleyball Tournament, which was due to be played on Saturday 11 September, mainly due to the current spike in Covid numbers across the country which we did not anticipate. We apologise for any inconvenience this decision causes you and your team. Full refunds of entry fees will be issued over the next few days.
The last thing we want is that our organisation could be responsible for contributing towards a further rise in Covid numbers across the country, thus putting our health service under even more strain.
We thank teams for their continued support of our annual event – I know how everyone was so looking forward to meeting up again on the North Inch for a fun day of grass volleyball at this year’s tournament.
We do hope that teams will support the 2022 tournament which is scheduled for the weekend of 28th & 29th May.
