Entry form guidance and rules for 2012.
VOLLEYBALL
Only one team per entry form.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse team names that cause offence. If in doubt please contact SOVT prior to submitting the form.
Where two or more teams are entered from the same club please ensure team names are noticeably different: NOT for example; Scotland I and Scotland II.
Division of Honour is subject to SOVT approval.
Teams entering the Division of Honour may find themselves allocated to Div 1 (outdoor courts). In this event the difference in entry fees will be refunded. Teams not accepting this will not have their entry fee refunded.
The Divisions of Honour are for top National League Teams. Both men’s and women’s divisions are played in accordance with F.I.V.B. rules. Entries to this part of the competition are assessed by the S.V.A. Referees’ Commission and for this purpose all entries should be accompanied by team lists identifying the players with their honours where appropriate.
THE CLOSING DATE FOR ALL ENTRIES TO ALL DIVISIONS IS SUNDAY 29th APRIL 2012.
Late entries will be accepted for outdoor courts but will incur a surcharge.
FEES:
Division of Honour £130 (155€). Other Divisions £100 (120€).
Cheques should be made payable to “SOVT” and please print team name and division entered on the back of the cheque.
A responsible adult must accompany junior teams.
Player Registration
* Players serving suspensions issued by their governing body will not be permitted to participate in the tournament.
CAMP SITE
Please note that there will be no system for the booking or pre-payment of camping places.
Camping will be available on the North Inch from 4pm onwards on Friday 2nd June. Payment may only be made to the administrator on arrival at the campsite.
A team member must be nominated as a reponsible person and shall be accountable for their group’s campsite activities.
The campsite administrator will determine a tent’s size and its location within the camping area.
CAMPING CHARGES:
normal tent £5 (6€), huge tent £10 (12€).
CAR PARKING
There will be a car parking charge of £3 (4€) per car for the weekend of the tournament, payable on arrival.
